A small, independent shop in Upper Marlboro, running since 2019. If you have worked somewhere chaotic, you will notice the difference.
No CDL is required for light and medium duty work, so this is a real trade you can get into without a year of paperwork first. A CDL is federally required only above 26,000 pounds combined weight rating, which is heavier than the work we do.
What we care about is whether you show up, whether you take care of the equipment, and whether the customer feels better after you arrive than before. The rest is teachable.
Tow operator
Light and medium duty towing and recovery across Prince George’s County. Flatbed work, roadside calls, and private property removals. Nights and weekends are part of the job, and so is knowing when not to pull.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Valid Maryland driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Available for nights, weekends, and on-call rotation
- Experience preferred, paid training available
Dispatcher
Answering the line, working out what actually happened, and getting the right truck moving. The person on the other end is usually having a bad night, so staying calm matters more than typing fast.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Comfortable on the phone with people under stress
- Good local geography, or willing to learn it quickly
- Available for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior dispatch or emergency service experience preferred
