Your car was towed. Here is how to get it back.

Call first so we can confirm we actually have your vehicle before you drive out here.

Call and confirm we have it

Give us the plate number or the address you parked at. If another company towed your vehicle we will tell you, so you are not driving to the wrong lot.

Call or text any time, day or night, including holidays. Vehicle release happens during office hours only.

Bring the right documents

What you need depends on who is collecting the vehicle.

If you are the registered owner

Photo ID, and proof the vehicle is yours: registration, an insurance card, the title, or sale paperwork if you have just bought it.

If you are collecting for someone else

Your photo ID, a copy of the owner’s photo ID, and a signed, notarized statement from the owner authorizing you to collect it.

If you are an insurance adjuster or agent

Company identification and the claim number. Call ahead and we will tell you what else the file needs.

Know what it costs before you arrive

Prince George’s County caps what a towing company may charge for a non-consent tow and sets when storage fees begin. Your total is the tow charge plus storage for each day the vehicle has been on the lot.

Call for the current figure for your vehicle. We will give you the number over the phone so there is no surprise at the gate.

Common questions

Call the dispatch line and give us the plate number or the address you parked at. We can tell you in a couple of minutes whether the vehicle is on our lot or whether another company took it.

Yes. You can retrieve personal property from the vehicle during office hours with photo ID and proof the vehicle is yours. Storage fees keep accruing while the vehicle stays on the lot, so it is worth sorting the release sooner rather than later.

They need their own photo ID, a copy of your photo ID, and a signed and notarized statement from you authorizing them to collect the vehicle. Call us first so we can confirm exactly what to bring for your situation.

Call us and tell us why. We photograph every vehicle in place before it moves, so there is a record of the signage, the position, and the time. If the tow was wrong we would rather find that out than argue about it.
